Hi Sean,
It's funny... I just wrote briefly about the Japanese obsession with toilet, too. Also, I finally bought a table-top stove and a clay pot and introduced my daughters to the world of shabu-shabu. They are hooked.
I went back to Japan for 2 days (!! yes, really!) in December. I saw the country in a very different light this time. My newest posts are about that trip. I'm curious to know what you think!
